As a performing artiste of Carnatic classical music for over a decade, Manasi has been invited to most major performance venues in India. Her musical career has taken her to some exciting destinations across the world- Chile, Africa, the Middle East – to name a few.

  • Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar 2008 by Central Sangeet Nataka Akademi, New Delhi (awarded to exceptionally talented young artists under the age of 35)

  • ‘Rotary Brigade Young Achievers’ Award 2006’, after being identified as ‘an outstanding all-rounder who has balanced a demanding academic course with a serious music career ‘

Manasi is a trained Bharatanatyam dancer. She performed her Rangapravesha (maiden solo performance) at the age of thirteen under the tutelage of Smt.Narmada. She has given numerous performances in India and abroad. She has danced in theatre productions such as ‘Nadajyoti Muthuswami Dikshitar’ and ‘Devi Upasaka Shyama Shastry’.

Manasi has composed music for and lent vocal support to many dance programmes, productions and Arangetrams. She has sung for performances by prominent dancers such as Nirupama Rajendra, Shama and Sanjay Shantaram, Vani Ganapathy, Bharatanjali troupe of B. Bhanumathi, Praveen Kumar and many others.

She is often invited as a guest lecturer at IIM Bangalore to give presentations on Indian Arts. She has conducted sessions on ‘Indian Performing Arts- a journey through emotions’ for various visiting delegations from Sri Lanka, Spain, USA and other countries

Manasi is a Fellow of the Melton Foundation, an international network of people.
She has given presentations on Indian Culture at the Annual Symposium of the Foundation in Germany.

Manasi has always excelled academically. She is the recipient of the All India Talent Scholarship, New Delhi. She secured 1st Rank in 10th Standard ICSE from Bishop Cotton Girls’ School. She received the Singapore Airlines Scholarship to study Pre-University in Raffles Junior College, Singapore. She has been recognized as one among the top ten students across all the IIMs and has consequently been awarded the Aditya Birla Scholarship.

Manasi did her summer internship during her MBA course at Goldman Sachs and Co. in New York. After her MBA, she has worked as a Credit and Sales Manager at Standard Chartered Bank in Bangalore.
